Become The Boss Of Any Trail With The LT Trail Boss

There is a Chevy Silverado for every truck owner. Whether you are the luxury type that wants it decked out in leather and the finest features, or you want something that is built for work and only work, there is a truck design for you. Of course, maybe you’re someone who likes to hit not only the open road but make your own roads. When you see a dirt path, you know your truck needs to be on it, and no matter the weather conditions, you always have the itch to get out in your pickup. Well if all of that sounds like you then the 2020 Silverado LT Trail Boss is the truck of your needs. And you can stop looking for a “Chevy dealer near me” in the search engine, because here at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet of Buford we have every Silverado pickup trim, including the LT Trail Boss.
Features of the LT Trail Boss
The LT Trail Boss is basically the upgraded version of the Custom Trail Boss. The Custom Trail Boss is just above the entry Silverado trims (the Work Truck is the base, followed by Custom, and then the Custom Trail Boss). The Custom Trail Boss features a two-inch factory suspension lift, the Z71 Off-Road package, an Autotrac 2-speed transfer case, plus 18-inch High Gloss Black-painted aluminum wheels with the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires.
The LT Trail Boss will take a number of these features and build on it. It includes the same factory-installed suspension, wheels, and tires. It also uses the Autotrac 2-speed transfer case, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless open and starts, all-weather floor liners, plus a remote vehicle starter system.

LT Trail Boss Safety Features
On the LT Trail Boss, you will have several views to monitor your movement. This will make it easier than ever before to be the boss of your own road. These features include a rear camera and an available hitch camera and bed camera. With the Trail Boss, you have a camera angle for everything. You can also monitor trailer movements and see the road behind the trailer. This will help keep not only you safe but also those behind your trailer safe. It is especially helpful when you’re trying to park in a tight parking lot. Some lots are not exactly pickup truck friendly (With Chevy pickups making the top three most sold vehicles in the United States you’d think by now they would start making slightly wider and longer parking spaces). Either way, with the back-up camera, you’ll be able to see everything that is behind you and around you, which helps keep you, your truck and other pedestrians safe. In fact, every vehicle currently sold by General Motors, including all Silverado models, including a back-up camera.
To help keep you safe after purchasing the 2020 Chevy Silverado LT Trail Boss, it does come standard with OnStar and Chevrolet Connected Services. This way, you can directly communicate with OnStar for assistance should you need it. It’s always nice knowing you have help on your side, especially if you’re unable to contact someone with your phone.
Boss Technology Entertainment Features
You are going to receive all kinds of tech upgrades in the LT Trail Boss as well. After all, sometimes the perfect vehicle is the marriage between traditional, mechanical power, and technological prowess. A number of the features you will find on the 2020 Silverado LT Trail Boss come directly from the features used in the 2019 Silverado Heavy-Duty lineup of trucks. Technology features are often tested out with the larger pickups and then moved down into the half-ton lineup.
During your drive, you’ll likely want to enjoy your music, podcasts, or other entertainment. Whether you’re hitting the trails or towing a trailer, there’s nothing like some quality audio entertainment to help pass the time. The LT Trail Boss does come standard with the Chevrolet Connected Access service as well as the ability to pair your mobile phone to the system via Bluetooth. If you want to upgrade the system, you can sprint for the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System with 8-inch HD color touchscreen. You can even spring for the Bose premium sound system as an available option if you’re interested in boosting your listening enjoyment and audio quality. When you go for the upgraded sound system package, you will receive HD radio, which will improve the sound quality of some local radio stations. Because let’s face it, while local radio is excellent, especially if there’s a favorite disk jockey or sports talk host, the signal isn’t always the greatest, and the audio quality doesn’t hold a candle to the sound quality of a CD or even some streaming apps. With HD radio that no longer is an issue, and you can enjoy many of your favorite stations in the highest audio quality possible.
The 2020 Chevy Silverado LT Trail Boss truly is the perfect mixture of technology and performance power. You’ll have the heightened lift so you naturally stand taller over other trucks (which is great as then you won’t need to take your pickup to a third-party garage and have the lift installed, which might affect your warranty), not to mention a best-in-class V8 and best-in-class-towing. So no matter what you want, the LT Trail Boss delivers.

LT Trail Boss Midnight
Now, who doesn’t like a special edition trim? We sure do, which is why we were pretty excited when Chevy came out with its LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition. This special edition does come with all the same features as the standard Trail Boss, but there are a few tweaks in cosmetics and overall visual appearance.
For starters, the Midnight Edition of this Chevy truck features black badging and a bowtie emblem found on the assist steps, bumpers, and grille. It also takes advantage of 18-inch high-gloss Black-painted aluminum wheels. The truck will come with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires.
This edition will feature high-intensity LED headlamps, plus it includes the two-inch factory suspension lift (when paired with the Z71 Off-Road Package), black dual-outlet exhaust tips, and it will come specifically with the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine. This engine produces 420 hp with 460 lb-ft of torque while using a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine is the king of V8 engines as it offers the best-in-class V8 and torque. It also has best-in-class 13,400 pounds of max towing.
