There are a whopping seven trim levels to choose from on the 2020 Chevy Traverse. Each one is unique in its interior features. With many standard safety and entertainment features, the entire family gets an enjoyable and comfortable ride.
The base L trim features premium cloth upholstery on the bucket seats and carpeted floors with mats. A grand total of 10 cupholders are located throughout the cabin, and you can easily store your umbrellas in the slender compartments made specifically for them. Active noise cancellation provides a quieter experience on the road, and the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System is displayed on a 7-in touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity. It even comes with its own 4G LTE Wifi hotspot to keep you connected everywhere you go. Safety features include cruise control, a rearview camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, and OnStar capability. For people with older kids, Teen Driver is also included across all trims, which provides a report card on the young driver’s habits while operating the vehicle. It also mutes the audio system and prevents the vehicle from shifting into gear if the seatbelt is not fastened.
As for the Chevy Traverse LS, it offers all of the same features as the L plus optional add-ons like a universal tablet holder, all-weather floor mats, protective seat covers, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and more. You can even add the highway safety kit that includes jumper cables, gloves, bungee tie-downs, and other emergency items.
Stepping up to the LT Cloth model will get you an 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar control, a stylish leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a SiriusXM Radio trial subscription. The LT Leather version adds a larger 4.2-inch driver information center, an 8-point digital compass, and, of course, leather seating. This model also comes with the upgraded Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System that is displayed on an 8-inch HD touchscreen. It also comes with the Convenience and Driver Confidence Package that includes remote start, heated front seats, and additional safety features such as blindspot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, and rear park assist.
Next is the RS model. It comes with a 120-volt power outlet, a heated steering wheel, and a premium 10-speaker Bose stereo system for high-quality audio. Displayed on an 8-inch HD touchscreen is the updated Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium System with Navigation so that you will never be lost in a new city again. This vehicle also includes the Driver Confidence II Package that includes a slew of safety features such as forward collision alert, keep-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and more. These systems all work in unison to help prevent accidents on the road. HD Surround Vision has also been added to give you a look at what outside your vehicle.
The 2020 Chevy Traverse Premier boasts heated and cooled perforated leather seating with heating elements in the steering wheel and throughout the second row of seating. Wireless charging is also included as well as all of the aforementioned safety features.
The top-of-the-line High Country model is the cream of the crop. The third row is a 60/40 split-bench seat with power-folding technology to easily configure the back to suit your needs. It also comes with a tilt-sliding power sunroof known as SkyScrape and a fixed rear skylight with a sunscreen. Adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams provide you with better visibility and a more relaxing driving experience.
