When Chevy announced its plans to transition the legendary Corvette into a mid-engine configuration, automotive journalists could barely contain their excitement. The new eighth-generation Corvette, known as the C8, launched in 2020 in both coupe and convertible body styles. The C8 Corvette comes in three trims: the 1LT, the 2LT, and the 3LT. All trims receive an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and plenty of options for cabin customization. While the 1LT and 2LT come with GT1 bucket seats wrapped in Mulan leather, the 3LT is upgraded to Nappa leather GT2 seats with carbon-fiber trim. Buyers can also opt for the Competition Sport seat, which features bolsters designed for track driving.
