Take a Look at These Chevy Silverado Special Edition Trucks

May 25th, 2017 by

Chevrolet Silverado special editions lend a competitive edge to the already-popular full-size pickup truck. Special editions offer more technology, better package options, and advanced safety features that make them well worth the upgrade. Here are a few you can test drive now at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet.

Midnight

The Silverado Midnight and Silverado HD Midnight editions are designed to turn heads. Clad in all black, including black wheels, door handles, mirror caps, and Chevy emblems, the Silverado Midnight is as aggressive as they come. Opting for the Midnight 2500HD also gets you off-road tires, black bumpers and grille, a spray-in bedliner, and an optional 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine, allowing you to haul those tough loads without sacrificing style.

The Midnight-themed Z71 also boasts the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system, an oversized 8-inch touch screen, six audio speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity. On LTZ Z71 trims, you’ll get a remote vehicle-starting system, a rear-vision camera, and a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel.

Redline

New for 2017, the Redline special edition series takes the Silverado to a whole new level. The Redline trim features black bowties and grilles, signature black wheels with red accents, and a sporty design that helps the vehicle stand out from the pack.

It first appeared on the 2017 Silverado 1500, but will follow suit on other Chevy vehicles, including the Camaro, Colorado, and Cruze. For now, you can buy the Redline special edition on Silverado 1500 LT Z71 double cabs and LTZ Z71 crew cabs with four-wheel drive.

Rally

The popular Rally edition has long been a favorite among Silverado truck owners. For 2017, choose from two Rally designs: Rally 1 with its striped hood and sides and 20-inch black wheels, or Rally 2 with 22-inch gloss black wheels and 4-inch round assist steps. Both Rally editions are offered in Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, and Black, allowing you to customize your pickup according to your preferences.

You’ll also find used Silverado trucks sporting the Rally theme. The 2015 Rally edition features a chrome bumper beneath the body-color grille, but lacks the theme’s stripes. The 2016 model offers a monochromatic grille with black emblem as well as black stripes.

Custom Sport

The Silverado Custom Sport edition is as sophisticated as they come. Available on 2500 crew cab LT and LTZ models, the Custom Sport trim features a body-color grille and bumpers and chrome accents, including chrome bodyside molding, for a distinctive look.

The 2017 Silverado Custom Sport boasts a spray-in bedliner, front and rear parking assist, chrome mirror caps and door handles, and 20-inch polished-aluminum wheels. You’ll also find used Silverado models sporting the unique look. Both the 2015 and 2016 versions are just as attractive as the 2017 edition. The only drawback is that you can’t customize your package like you can when purchasing new. Either way, you’ll still get a great truck that makes a statement!
